Quilt Turning
with Pennsylvania quilt historian Barbara Garrett
Saturday, November 4th, 2023, Two Seatings: 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center in Pennsburg
Participants will gather around a stack of 25 antique quilts thoughtfully selected from the Textile Collection of the Goschenhoppen Historians. Pennsylvania quilt historian Barbara Garrett will discuss the quilt’s design, construction, and history….and then “turn” to the next quilt. A special event for anyone with an interest in vintage quilts. Registration is limited to 20 per session to assure participants can easily see, appreciate, and even photograph each quilt.
